UNC Biomolecular NMR Laboratory Inova 600 MHz spectrometer
UNC UNC Biomolecular NMR Laboratory
Chapel Hill, NC The Inova 600 MHz Spectrometer

The Inova 600 MHz spectrometer is intended primarily for studies of protein samples. The spectrometer has four RF channels to allow simultaneous manipulation of H1, C13, N15, and H2 spins for studies of triple-labeled proteins. Two of the RF channels are equipped with waveform generators to create shaped RF pulses. The spectrometer has three-axis gradients to allow solvent suppression and selection of coherence pathways. The sample temperature can be controlled to +/- 0.1 C. Three probes were purchased with the system: a 5mm 1H {C13/N15} X, Y, Z PFG triple resonance probe, and 8mm H1 {C13/N15} Z PFG triple resonance probe, and a 5mm N15 - P31 broadband probe with H1 decoupling.
